I am looking for a WW chocolate dessert from 1984. It was made in a square dish. It was the very best ever. Does anyone have it? There was a strawberry one at the same time.

You can look at this recipe but I do not believe it is the one you are looking for.
The recipe is about half way down the page (lots of ads).

This cake is based on the point system and I believe the point system started in the 90's but it could still be the same recipe.
Weight Watchers cook books are found in many thrift stores and usually cost less than $2 but be sure you look at dates of publication and also recipes will be based on the exchange system.
Here are some of the ones that will probably have this recipe.
You can find these vintage books online but be sure to ask the seller if this book has the chocolate cake recipe.
