3, 2, 1 Microwave Mug Cake

This cake will be great for the individual desert or for those nights that the entire family wants a different cake flavor. Now that I am alone, it is the only mix I will be using but I am experimenting to see what "flavor" I like the best using just a white cake mix. Cake will look dry and be pulling away from the cup sides slightly when done. If it has places that are still "wet", cook it for 10 seconds more. DO NOT overcook.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 1 microwave minute

Total Time: 2-6 minutes

Yield: 1 serving per cup

Ingredients:

1 Box cake mix - any flavor or brand
1 Box Angel food cake mix - any brand
2 Tbsp water
1 microwave safe cup or mug

Steps:

Mix cake mixes together. Use all envelopes. Mix well. Store in airtight jar or zip lock gallon plastic bag.
Use 3 level tablespoons cake mixture.
Use 2 tablespoons water. Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
Place in a microwave safe cup and mug. Mix well.
Cook in microwave 1 minute on High.
Remove from microwave.
Frost with "canned" frosting, or top with individual serving of pudding, if desired.

I have been using this recipe for years!! It is easy too remember. If you want to add other things I recommend after it cooks then stir other things in.
