Photo Description Or maybe I would call it 'Fertile Myrtle'. Every flower this rose produces, ends up making a rose hip. Every one. I think that's sort of unusual. I've never grown a rose from seed. Maybe this little rose is subtly suggesting I give it a try. A symbiotic relationship between a rose and a human? It could happen. Maybe it does happen, more than we know.
This beautiful 'single' rose is named 'Playboy'. If I were naming the rose, I think I would call it 'Glowing Embers'.

Perhaps the original breeder had someone that Playboy really suited? But I agree, a more descriptive name would suit this rose. It is very pretty, especially since it is a single rose competing with all those doubles and triples.
