Photo Description I left these since they had blossomed into pretty orange flowers and I liked how they were growing through the lattice. I wish all weeds were so lovely and then there would be less yard work to do!
As I was going around our backyard pulling weeds, I found these beautiful orange flowers growing through the lattice that surrounds our air conditioner. We never planted them, so I wondered how they sprung up there. Then I noticed the leaves on this "flower" and they looked exactly like the leaves of the weeds I had been pulling up.

Those are so pretty. I can't wait to see if anyone knows what they are. I thought maybe California poppy until I zoomed in.
I have had there growing on my property. I suppose whether they are a weed is determined by how you feel about them. I enjoyed having them there. I did know the name but have forgotten. I think they are a variety of Coreopsis.
