I love my coffee but it has to be just right for me. I'm not a fan of Starbucks coffee. Years ago, I purchased a cup while shopping at the mall. It was too strong for me. I asked if they had any salt and the answer was, "No."
When you get a cup of coffee and it's too strong, add a little sprinkle of salt to it. It will take the edge off and make it taste much better.

This used to be common knowledge among traveling salesmen years ago. Thanks for bringing it back.
It is said that salt makes food taste better by enhancing the sugars in it. I don't know if that is a fact. Sounds reasonable.
i agree xx
My Dad was a great coffee maker and always put a little bit of salt in the coffee he was making. Thanks for a great memory!

Starbucks decaff is an excellent alternative (for those meetings when someone else chooses location).
