Coloring popcorn is an easy process. You can either color the kernels before popping or color the popcorn after popping. Here are two methods to color popcorn.

Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup of oil to the popcorn. Place a few drops of food coloring on top of the popcorn mix. Put the lid on the machine and set to stir.
We used to color it before popping (always at Christmas time). If you garden, there is a variety of colored popcorn that you can plant. The kids had fun growing it. Each cob had kernels on it of many different colors.
