Adjusting the Hinge on a Kenmore Elite Microwave?

I have a Kenmore Elite microwave-convection oven combo, model# 790.48903000. The hinges are on the bottom and the latches are on the top. The left latch suddenly will not line up into the hole it's supposed to fit. The door will not close because of it. The right latch still lines up fine as far as I can tell.

With the door resting fully open, there are four hinges holding the door onto the microwave. A "huge" inner hinge and a smaller outer hinge on each side.

The small hinge on the left side clearly slides around when/if you start to close the door. There is no movement that I can see on the right hinges at all. (It doesn't mean they might not be, just I don't see it.)

If I can access/fix (?) the small loose hinge on the left, the door can be aligned correctly (???) I'm guessing?

Please how do I get to the hinge on the bottom left? Do I try and get parts now (broken hinge?) or its just loose? Can a raw beginner do this... (:::z

Thank you for your patience & help.

You should check the screws on the door hinges to make sure they really tight and screwed in. If they are and you aren't finding any that are broken then you may need to buy a new door for the microwave. This item is considered a throw-away item these days because of the value they are so cheap to replace. Most companies do not sell replacement parts for these machines now and it is hard to find one.

If you know of anyone who has thrown one away it might be possible to remove their door and check the hinges. If now you will need to take the screws off from your door and check your hinges to make sure one is not broken or missing one of the screws. After a time the screws can come to look or even rusted and this will cause the problems you are seeing now.

This can get very complicated and probably best if you can take it to your local Sears Service Center for help with this problem. Please remove glass tray if you take your machine anywhere.

You should call first to see if they are open and if you need to make an appointment.
I have had very good luck with getting minors repairs done while I waited and only a small charge. Hope this happens to you.
Their repair service will not be anymore expensive than another shop and they will have the correct parts if any are needed.
You can always decide if the cost is too much and return home and look for videos.

Just do not leave your machine with a paper showing cost of service and when to pick it up.
