I have a Memory Craft 6000 that I just got from Goodwill. Everything seems to work fine except the stitch length. When I go to monogram or do any of the stitch patterns, the pattern is so spread out that you can't recognize them. I have tried adjusting the stitch length and even the darning adjustment. The picture attached is of trying to do an A and the number 16 preset on the machine.

If the sewing machine didn't come with a manual I would suggest downloading the PDF file here:
janome.com/
The manual will explain the different setting for the sewing machine. Normally there is two setting to set on these types of machines.
As with the problem you are having it might be best if you could contact a Janome dealer in your area and see if there is anyone that can help you with this adjustment - free of charge hopefully.
If that does not work try and find a sewing or quilting store in your area and see if they know someone familiar with this machine.
Another suggestion would be to contact your local Jo Ann's or Michael's craft store and ask about someone there as they many times have names of craft people who have different machines.
This machine may just need a good cleaning and you should be able to find out how to do this from the manual.
