I would love to know age of this trunk ? And possibly the maker? I am just curious. The liner is original. It is only missing the lock. I don't see any signs of it being refurbished.

Steamer trunks are still popular so there are forums around that have collectors who can sometimes help with questions like this.
Many of the trunks did not have 'brand' names but were just sold to stores/shops anywhere trunks were needed for travel.
Someone may be able to date it for you. Look at some of the posting so you can see what type of pictures most people want if they're going to be able to help you.

Can you tell me what it's worth
This looks like an old sea trunk may be from the 1900-1950. If you check out camel back trunks this one looks the same as they do. A lot of trunks like this do not have any markings on them or a name of who has made the trunk. I think that a antique trunk dealer or shop in your area can assist you in identifying this a bit better than any of us can here.
