I have a old lawn mower, and I am trying to find out how old it is. It is a Craftsman model 143.501061, serial 9737469. Can someone tell me how old it is and if is worth anything?

Craftsman is not very old not old enough to be worth any thing.

There does not seem to be a very high value on even vintage Craftsman mowers.
- Craftsman push mowers have always been manufactured in high volumes so all years are usually plentiful and value is very low.
- If you were asking about a ride on mower then age could be determined by the serial number but that is not the case with push mowers.
- You should be able to find the date/year of manufacture if you call your local Sears Parts/Service Store.
- Just Google Sears Parts with your zip and find a store in your area.
- Or you can just call any Sears parts and give them your model number and ask your question about the age.
- They cannot give you a value but you might check eBay for a similar model but it would be unusual if you find one for sale.
- If you are interested in selling, then your local Craigslist would be the place to list it.
- Asking price would be up to you but listing is free and you can always reduce the price if no one seems interested.
