Normally dressers like this should have a label on the back, under the dresser, or in one of the drawers that gives you an idea of who has made this and the type of wood the dresser is made out of. Just trying to guess who has made this and the age is a bit difficult without knowing more about the company that has made it. If you can't find out anything else about this item it is best to find an antique furniture dealer in your area and have him take a look. He may be able to identify who has made this dresser, give you an estimate of the age and the value. Without knowing more it is hard to say one way or the other.

It's a beautiful piece, do you know who the maker is, serial numbers, age , company logo. All of these things could put you closer to getting a answer. Mean while you could take your picture to a antique furniture dealer/appraiser.

They could give you more of a professional analysis and put you closer tom it's history.

Hello,

I can tell that this would be worth around $1000.000. It is breath-taking!

Can you tell me if the drawers are dovetail construction and what the back is made from (solid wood--particle board, something else?)

Is the back nailed on or are there screws and if there are screws or nails can you describe the heads (like flat nail head or hex screw head)?

Is there a place on the back where a mirror would have been attached?

It is an interesting piece but without more info it is almost impossible to give a value or tell you how old it may be.

Also can you share how tall it is?

Thanks for posting! It is really pretty!!
