I found these Mersman 7302 side tables. They look like they are someone's unfinished project. I was curious what year they were made. And what type of wood. I couldn't find any info on this model.

Neat! Most likely these are 1950s, possibly the early 1960s, but they have a 50s vibe to them. The Mersman numbers are nearly impossible to use to date the pieces. I have never seen such a wonky numbering methodology.
Most of the time you have to date the piece by the tag (or sticker). The really old pieces were under different versions of the name and at one point they had a green and yellow sticker to ID the brand.
They are called Step Tables.
The detail is nice, as many of this brands step tables are very simple and do not have the under shelf. The ones with a drawer usually fetch more than the ones that are just shelves...just because they add a little extra storage to the function.
Most likely they were mahogany as that was the most common wood this brand used in that time frame. They used oaks and walnuts also, but those pieces were often chunky and this has the MCM (mid century modern) lines that were often done in the better woods, like the mahogany.
If you can get them restored to their original condition and it is a professional restore, they can sell for $25 to $100 depending on where you live.
The challenge with restoration is a bad one can totally devalue the pieces so if you are not a professional or have a lot of experience with restorations and you want to sell, I say leave them as is and sell them as is. In this condition they can fetch between $5 and $25 depending on where you live.
If you do the restoration (or have it professionally done) you need to tell the buyer that it was restored and provide documentation if it was by a pro.
They are super functional and can last a life time!! Thanks for sharing!
I can not find the info on these tables. They are mersman that need a lot of work to be restored back to its original luster!
This is a very popular question here on the site and the site has made a special post just to talk about Mersman and the value of the tables. I can repeat the information but there is no need for this. I know that what you are seeking and looking for is right there for you.
