I found a Murphy straight back chair without arms that I will be refinishing. I will not be selling it, but am curious about its age. The code on the bottom is 294. It was manufactured, according to the template, in Owensboro, KY.

I have not found anything pertaining to #294 but I do have some general information on Murphy chairs.
