I'm a single mother of two with low income needing urgent help with my roof. I have a gutter that's almost completely pulled off my 2 story home. Roof repairs for charity are a big challenge. Lots of risk to the fixers.
Are you a member of a church or other religious group? Perhaps they have resources to help you (like through a discretionary fund) where they could offer some funding to help a professional make the fixes.
Perhaps they haven have a roofer in the congregation who could offer a discounted fix.
You don't say where you are, but some cities and states have city (or state) government programs where you can get low or no interest loans to help with repairs if you meet certain criteria.
