This is my first time using an air fryer. Here's an easy recipe for ahi tuna steaks. Easy to make, mess free and you have a meal ready in just minutes.
Prep Time: 5 minutes + 15 minutes marinating
Cook Time: 8-10 minutes
Total Time: 13-25 minutes minutes
Yield: 2 people
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ahi tuna
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt & pepper
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves
Steps:
- Chop garlic cloves up. Use the amount of garlic you like, but I love fried garlic to pair with my rice so I cut up a bunch!
- Marinate tuna with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Allow to refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Place in air fryer at 400F for 8-10 minutes, or until your preferred doneness.
- Ready to serve. I served this air fryer tuna with side of rice and bowl of salad.
