This is the first time this air plant (Tillandsia) has bloomed. I love the beautiful purple flower. Afterwards, I believe I should be expecting baby pups. Snapped some photos to share with you all!

Gorgeous! I have several but none have bloomed for me yet
I HAVe 6 but none have ever bloomed. in fact they were all very different when the showed up but within a few months they all look the same.
You've never followed up with this post, so I want to ask you, did your plant have babies? Has it ever bloomed since then? I'm interested as I have an air plant given to me by a dear friend and I would love to know how you got it to bloom! Did you use anything like a specific plant food or something that you recycled and sprayed on your plant?
