How and when did you get your pet?
My sister Ilona, who passed away last month, got her for me in October of 2016. She got her for me because I suffer from chronic anxiety and PTSD.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
She loves hide and seek, riding in the bib of my overalls, cuddling, sitting draped across my shoulder to watch TV, and playing tug of war.
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
Akaiah lets me know when I'm about to have a panic attack. She keeps me calm (her name means patience). She will lick my hand or face when she knows I'm stressed or sad. She gets along with other animals and loves people. She definitely rules our house!
