Are your looking for a budget friendly alternative to pot saucers? Think plastic kid's plate! I recently was gifted this Castanospermum australe "Lucky Bean Plant". The cheapest saucers from Home Depot were 80 cents (very thin plastic) to $2.68 (still somewhat thin plastic) so I held off on purchasing a saucer.
Then, I found these sturdy plastic kids' plates for only .59 cents each at Target, available in 2 sizes and 5 colors! They are perfect with the raised edges to be plant saucers.
If you need plant saucers in these 2 sizes, they can work for you a low price of .59 cents.

Frisbees are excellent plant saucers. I often get them with advertising on them. They are just deep enough to contain any drips , last forever and are free
You are correct! Frisbees are a great plant saucer alternative too!!
Wow, thanks! That's a great idea and so thrifty compared to buying the real thing. I would have never thought of that.
You're welcome! So much sturdier too! And Linda suggested a frisbee which is an awesome alternative too!
