Bronze Tip Medal for All Time! 59 Tips These 2 sets of aluminum leaf earrings are made from scrap aluminum from disposable pie pans and also an aluminum seal from a coffee can.
Supplies:
- disposable pie pan
- aluminum coffee seal
- leaf templates
- non-working ball point pen
- hammer
- nail
- utility shears
- earring wires
- dowel
- jump rings
- small pliers
Steps:
- Place templates onto aluminum and use non-working pen to outline them, then cut out the leaves with utility shears. Use the dowel to 'iron' out the leaves, if needed.
- Use non-working pen to draw veins on the leaves, then use the hammer and nail to make a hole in the top of the leaves.
- Add 1 of the jump rings to the top of both sets of leaves. Add small first, medium, then large. Next add the other jump ring, and then attach to the earring wires with the pliers.
