I have about a 4 footer and it was nice and leafy. Now it is losing it's leaves and soon will have none. The plant does not appear to be dying.

This sounds like an irrigation problem in your yard where the plant is.
- You will need to dig around the plant and loosen the soil.
- Make sure the plant is receiving enough water when it's watered.
- You'll also need to give the plant some good fertilizer.
- You can also dig around the root system of the plant and replace the dirt around this area.
- You can use some good potting soil or even mulsh to help the plants roots get enough water.
- Don't over water the plant because this will also cause the leaves to turn yellow and fall off.
- Check the root for knots. There is a root knot insect that sucks on the roots of plants that can kill trees and other plants in the yard.

You are either underwatering or overwatering. Keep the plant evenly watered.
