Photo Description I captured this delicate funnel-shaped blossom as it hung from above me against a perfect autumn day. It is a gorgeous 'Brugmansia,' more commonly known as angel's trumpet. Brugmansia is a long-lived woody perennial and relatively easy plant to grow. Here, where I live in the Southeastern USA, it is a common pass-along plant that will bloom from late summer through fall. However, its beauty belies its danger! It would be wise to keep in mind that all parts of this plant are toxic and can be dangerous to people and pets! Avoid touching with bare hands and DO NOT INGEST! Otherwise, enjoy!
As a family historian and Find A Grave contributor, I spend lots of time in old cemeteries. They are comforting, beautiful places to me; places to contemplate life and the lives of those who came before us. On any given day, walking through some of these lovely old places can yield the most surprising finds!

Beautiful in a place of sorrow for others. That's what colorful flowers are there for. You always see what others overlook.
Beautiful
Beautiful photo! And how perfect to see an angel's trumpet in a cemetery! I enjoy walking through cemeteries too!
How perfect to find an angel's trumpet in a cemetery. Too often we focus on the gravestones and/or look down. All around there is beauty in a cemetery. Wonderful photo!
Just beautiful and amazing that even touching it is poisionous!
Beautiful photo, as always, Diane!
