I had been drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with water every day to keep my blood sugar down and weight off. It's worked miraculously, but it was always a pinch-my-nose-and-chug it effort. Now I turn it into this delicious apple pie drink. The lovely spices do a great job of covering up the vinegar, but you still get all the amazing health benefits.
There are many great articles on benefits of apple cider vinegar. Here's one: http://www.webmd.com/diet/obesity/apple-cider-vinegar-and-health

you forgot to add 2 T lemon juice
Hi, Sheri. I don't use lemon juice in mine, but sounds like a nice variation. :)
Thanks for this, Attosa! My father-in-law drank his with hot water and honey but it still smelled pretty bad. On the upside, he never had a gastrointestinal problems of any kind: his digestion was perfect and he attributed the fact to the vinegar.
My variation would include a small scoop of frozen apple juice concentrate with 8 or 12 ounces of water, but I surely do love your idea of adding spices too.
You are welcome! It's amazing how well the vinegar works. I can tell the difference with my digestion and appetite on days when I skip it. :)
