Apple Pudding Cake

Ingredients

• 4 cups chopped apples
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp. butter or shortening
• 2 cups flour
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Grease 9x13 inch cake pan. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in 350 degree F oven about 1 hour or until cake loosens from side of pan.
