Applesauce Cake

Ingredients:

• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 2 cups applesauce
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup nutmeats (opt.)
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. allspice
• 1 tsp. nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar together. Add applesauce, raisins, and nutmeats. Sift flour, soda, and spices together and add to mixture. Gradually beat after each addition. Bake in 375 degrees F oven for 30 minutes.
