Where do you go to get the proper information about becoming a longshoreman?
It mentions contact your Local Union. But how to do find where to go to ?check local Union?
Also, if they are hiring now/ currently, please give some type of advertising and/or advertisements just help. People wants jobs. Help...quickly before hiring is over. Thank You!

Surely you should be asking at the port or at the union hall. I can't think why people on a site about thrift would be expected to have detailed knowledge about longshoreman jobs.

You also didn't mention where you are and that probably makes a difference.
