Are These Insect Eggs?

A pile of small tan objects inside a door jamb. This is the second time I have seen a pile of particles in this shape and location (underneath the bottom of a closed metal door) in the last 3 months. Are these insect eggs? Location is SE Florida. Thank you.

This is very possibly a pile of termite droppings, called "frass". (There are two invasive types in your geographic area.) Very hard to see with the naked eye, but each pellet will be very similar in shape and color. Color is determined by the type of wood being consumed. I suggest calling a professional exterminator, but if you're a handy person and into natural methods you might try spraying a solution of Borax powder or orange oil, or exposing infected wood to bright sunlight (i.e., remove trees or other shading structures). Good luck to you! Please get after this before a remedy becomes very expensive.

They do look like insect eggs. Your local cooperative extension or garden center could identify them for you.

These appear to look like Termite eggs.In Florida the insects are year around and can cause non stop damage. You can ask a professional to make sure .
