With just 2 household items you may already have at home (a glass table and lamp) you can make your own tracing table/area.
My computer desk is glass (or if your dining table or end table is glass - that will work too). Plug a lamp on underneath your table and you're ready to trace! No need to purchase an expensive tracing table!

Must try this. I have a small, low table so I'll stand it on the dining table - on books if necessary. So simple. Cheers.

Something else that works is a dining table that has "leaves" to insert to make it longer. Pull it apart and lay a piece of clear plastic or glass over the opening.
