I have an 1 month old avocado tree. It has a few leaves that are white, thick, and waxy. They just keep the same shape and are a little twisted. They look very different from the other leaves. What it is?

It might be a mutant leaf. Cut it off if it bothers you.
thank you.
I have three avacado plants growing in one pot. They stopped dropping their leaves once I started adding seeds to the one pot. One is with white leaves. I love it. It's flourishing and growing quite fast.
Interesting that I have found a variety of answers...one says it is
another says it is a mutation of a form of albinism:

Another site says it is some kind of blight and to remove the seedlings:

If you are not trying to grow an orchard of avocado, I say love it for its differences and see how it grows!
Post back how it grows!
Hi,
I think it looks okay. The real leaves are underneath the waxy ones.
However, I would not water too much during the winter, since avocado trees like to dry out between waterings.
Blessings,
Robyn
Hi,
I believe it is Sun Blotch disease. As long as you are not raising any avocados from it in an orchard, I don't see it as a problem.
