Here is a receipt with only (for 2 persons) an avocado, a pear, a little bit of peppercorns and vinegar. Pepper and vinegar have to be a bit sophisticated, like pink or green or black pepper, raspberry vinegar or balsamic vinegar for example.
If you can't find special vinegar, you can make your own receipt by adding to wine vinegar (do not use white vinegar) or even better to pure lemon juice: honey, a little bit of natural orange or grape or apple juice, a little bit of dried thyme or another dried herb. Shake the mixture and leave it to rest a few hours for the different tastes to combine well. The taste must not be too strong it must be only subtle because you only add a little bit of pepper and vinegar, the interesting result of the receipt being the combination of the pear and the avocado's taste.
My receipt is simple but you have to work fast and be calm because you will have to slice the avocado in thin slices, something like 5 mm would be perfect, same with the pear. Then you have to join the slices side by side, one slice of avocado, one slice of pear, one slice of avocado until you reconstitute in each plate a half avocado/pear fruit. It is not easy because the slices are slippery and you know you do not have much time before avocado and even pear start losing their fresh colour.
Once you have managed the reconstitution, of the avocado/pear fruit, you just pour a little bit of your special vinegar and a little bit of pepper over the half fruit and you serve immediately. Do not add salt when making the receipt, and if, to your taste, oil is necessary, use a neutral taste oil, do not use olive oil for example. I made a little design because I am used to making this receipt but I don't know if I explained it well. Bon appétit!
