My neighbor told me about Awesome for cleaning vinyl siding. She really liked it, so last year, when I was in Dollar General, I picked up a 32 ounce bottle of it for $1.00. I had not used it until this week when cleaning the porch, getting the wood ready for painting and new screen wire.
After removing the old screen, I had a mess to clean, but using Awesome made the job so easy. It really cuts the dirt fast and it is so easy to use.
I needed more so I purchased a 64 ounce jug from Dollar General and it was $3.00. I guess people have found out just how awesome this product is and the price is a little higher now. It's still a great buy for the money.

I see this every time I go to Dollar Tree but I haven't tried it. I'm wondering how well it would work on vinyl that is covered with mold and mildew.

You may need to be careful when using Awesome full strength as it is some strong stuff. Last Fall, I cleaned my vinyl siding with Car Wash and it does great.
It worked beautifully on my vinyl siding worked beautifully!
Karen, did you dilute the Awesome to use on the vinyl siding or did you use it full strength? I haven't had to clean ours this year and I need to know just in case I decide to use it on the vinyl siding when it does need cleaning.
I used it full strength. And my tablecloth was so dirty, I used it full strength on that too. Thats a fault I seem to have, not reading the directions before I use. :(
My friend told me about Awsome cleaner. Good and cheap too!
Discovered this on a cleaning site. Love it, it works amazing on soap scum too. I had a clear bathmat that I couldn't get the "cloudiness" out of - sprayed this on let it set a few minutes and scrubbed lightly with a brush it came out crystal clear just like when I bought it.
Youre right, its a super cleaner! But when I used it on my vinyl tablecloth, it took the color off.
I was wondering about that. When I cleaned the railings on the deck, I noticed that the water had a white tent to it meaning that some of the paint may have come off too which was great because I'm getting them ready for painting also. I used it full strength.
I just used it to clean the bathtub and I like the way it cleans. It is strong when you use it full strength.
I used the Awesome cleaner on my carpet to clean a pet stain. I was amazed how well it worked. My carpet is beige so not sure on colored carpet but I use it for LOTS of things! We have been using it for years.
Keep your eye out at Dollar General and Family Dollar stores. They have a larger refill jug thats cheaper than buying a bunch of the spray bottles.
Morbid as this might sound, Awesome gets rid of whatever it is that accumulates on headstones. We cleaned off the 40 year old marker on my mother-in-law's final resting place with Awesome and a good stiff brush and now it looks like new!
Awesome Cleaner took care of the burned rice in my Rachel Ray stainless steel pot. I covered the bottom of the pan with the Awesome Cleaner and let it soak overnite. The next day, the stain lifted with just the smallest effort and a stainless steel scrubber. I believe it worked better than leaving a fabric softener in the pot.
I use awesome on my stove, it's great, I also use in bathroom, tub, shower doors, it cleans grease and soap scum with very little effort needed on my part. I've had 2 back surgeries, and it helps with cleaning all over my home. It lives up to it's name. AWESOME.
This is something I've considered trying for some time. Thank you for your comments - it's now on my shopping list!
Awesome is my favorite non-bleach cleaner, I use it on everything!
Can I use this on stainless steel?
