I'm looking for ideas for a backdrop. The dance theme is neon and bright lites. I am trying to incorporate that into an idea for a backdrop for group pictures

A black background with different colored, blacklight-reactive paint splattered on it maybe? If you try this, try it with a small patch first to see if it photographs decently.
If not, then just...neon colored paint, maybe the thick, rubbery paint used for raised fabric paint? Hope you come up with something!
Maybe a profile of a city-scape with your school's name and the year written on like neon signs?
Just thought too, if you're going for a retro 80's look it could be fun to do up a big record album cover! Lots of neon and geometric shapes around then.
