This may have only happened to me. But if you ever have this happen, you will probably remember this tip.
I have a fry pan that is warped. I have to buy used and sometimes when you see a good price you grab it without much thought.
This pan leans to the left and won't cook things evenly. So today I decided to see what I could do to balance it out. One of my spice bottles did the trick.
You can see the difference between them and how much better it is.
I hope this helps if you ever have the same problem. Now if you will excuse me I am off to see if I can pound out the bulge in the middle or go get another skillet.

Looks like it's working great propped up.
If there is a bump in the middle you could try putting a piece of wood inside and pounding on the wood with a hammer.
Yeah, I think I will try that but it's just a cheap skillet. I will get the thicker ones from now on. Thanks!!
I think it's time for a new pan. It looks like your pan is made of Teflon? That's a potentially dangerous pan because when it's damaged, scratched or starting to peel it releases a poisonous gas.
I did buy a nice Oster one and I love it...esp' when it was still only 3.00!!
