Table runners made from bandannas are a thrifty way to dress up your table for everyday or for holidays. You can choose from different patterns at a very low cost to make. You can sew on liners or not, it is up to you. Also, if you don't own a sewing machine you can just use sewing hemming tape.
Total Time: Thirty minutes or less
Supplies:
- bandanna's from Walmart or other stores have them also
- thread
- lining material (opt.)
Steps:
- Measure table length for size of runner needed.
- Measure bandanna length to determine how many will be needed to make a runner. Or you can just place the pieces on your table to determine how many are needed.
- Sew the bandannas together on your machine or use hemming tape to piece them together. If using material for a liner cut material for liner about half an inch longer than the runner. Iron under a half inch and then sew the liner onto the runner. You can also add ribbons or other creative decorations onto the top of the runner.
