Hi, I Bantu my hair all the time. I'm wanting to know if I can add perming lotion/process to my Bantu knots to get a permanent Bantu knot look?
Anyone done this before? Anyone professional hairdresser? Any thoughts? Any Bantu queens?

I assume your hair is already curly and you do the Bantu knots yourself. And then you want to add the perm solution to the knots? Adding perm solution to curly hair like this may make it straighter or inconsistently curly in places. It may also damage your hair.
I would definitely talk to your hairdresser but I don't think there is a way to make them permanent. You would have to take them out as they grow and the new growth would have your natural hair texture. So you would need to perm them every couple of months, which will definitely damage your hair.
Good luck and do let us know what you find out.
I'm afraid that I cannot answer your question from experience but I was curious and tried to find answers to this question.
The search was disappointing as I could only find one article that actually had comments. There was not much information but the comments might help:

Have you tried asking a professional hairstylist as I feel sure they would have some knowledge about this style and may have even tried it.
Perhaps a beauty supply store or even a beauty school.
You might even contact someone at one of the hair perm companies as they have probably had this question asked before.
Just as information to anyone that is not familiar with this hair style:

I would consult with a beauty school, or a local hair dresser. You want someone to look at the condition of your hair before you do anything
You can call and consult a professional. Make sure you call 2 to 3 for the answer, also here is a link to different consumers and videos on this very specific curl/twist - www.bing.com/
I would consult your hair stylist. I honestly don't think it would be a good idea to put strong chemicals on your hair and don't think it would work very well.
I have 2C/3A hair and im male, i bantu knot my hair in really good bantu knots then let that sit for about 4 hours after that i add the perming products from a 'at home perming kit' and it turns out really well.
