Three hours in advance, sprinkle meat with tenderizer on each side of 3 or 4 lbs. of roast. Pierce deeply with fork and leave 1 hour.
Mix all barbecue ingredients in shallow pan or dish large enough to hold meat.
Cut roast into 1 inch cubes. Marinate 1 1/2 hours in barbecue sauce.
