As I have gotten older, I have discovered the best dishrag for me is actually what is known as a barkeeper's towel. It's certainly bigger than a dishrag but more of a square shape than a tea towel, and is made of really absorbent cotton with a great nap to it.

Excellent. Thank you.
I love the "bar towels" or "bar mop towels" instead of kitchen tea towels. When they get too stained they become rags with an "x" written in permanent marker on one corner.
I Googled "barkeepers towels," they don't exist. Providing a link on where to buy would be helpful.

You can find bar mops at BJs, Sams, WalMart, even Dollar Tree sometimes. Some are thicker than others, but they all have a pronounced nap on them.
I love those myself. I don't buy the regular towels anymore. The bar keepers towels are the best.
