The only way to make homemade bread is using a Bosch--at least that's my family secret!
Prep Time: 18 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 1 1/2 hours
Yield: 2 dozen rolls or 2 loaves bread
Ingredients:
- 2 3/4 cup very warm water
- 7 to 8 cups flour
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 2 Tbsp yeast
- butter
Steps:
- Using an electric mixer, such as a Bosch or Kitchenaid, pour water into bowl. Add salt, yeast, honey, and oil. Blend for a minute.
- Begin adding flour 1 cup at a time while mixing. I used about 8 cups. Sometimes its less, sometimes its more. No need to measure. Just add flour until dough does not stick to side of bowl as pictured.
- Mix for 8 minutes. Place dough onto oiled silicon sheet. Form into a ball. To make rolls, pinch dough from ball, shape into smooth balls, and place in greased pan. Continue until all dough is used. Let rise about 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Spread tops of rolls with butter.
