Using this basic never-fail fudge recipe, I like to make up my own combinations of fudge. This time I made a chocolate/butterscotch/cashew fudge.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped cashews
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine

Steps:
- I divided the ingredients in half to make this chocolate cashew/butterscoth cashew fudge. For the chocolate layer, Melt 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips, l/8 cup butter, and l/2 cup sweetened condensed milk in a glass bowl in microwave at 50 percent power for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring once or twice. Add l/2 cup chopped cashews and stir.

- Repeat with butterscotch chips. Pour over top of chocolate layer.
