I use this basic quiche recipe and then add various ingredients to it to make a variety of different quiches.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 55 minutes
Total Time: 1 1/2 hours
Yield: Six servings.
Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- meat
- cheese
- vegetables
- 1 pie shell, homemade or store bought
Steps:
- Blend milk and eggs into blender. Pour into pie shell.
- Sprinkle with cheese (I used 1 to 2 cups). Add meat. I used some leftover Canadian bacon but you could use any kind of meat you might have leftover from another meal.
- In a frying pan, add a little olive oil and saute onion. Add some steamed vegetables and saute for a few minutes. (I used broccoli and cauliflower).
- Add vegetables to quiche. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes until done. Serve.
