I am trying to sell my house and decided to remodel my bathroom with some new ceramic tile on the floor, shower walls, and around the whirlpool tub. The tiles are a light almond color and the vanity is a clear coated birch. Please help me pick a good color to paint the walls!

I would go with white, and strive for a very restful spa look to the place. As well, you can then accessorize with whatever other colour you like. I had a bathroom with those colours, and I used red, white, and black towels, glass accessories, and white flowers in a cut glass vase. At Christmas, I switched out the flowers for red silk poincettas in a black vase. I had lace curtains on the windows and a red, white, and black shower curtain.
In a similar bathroom, I have a sage & burgundy shower curtain, pastel flowers in a white vase, sage and burgundy towels. You can see that you can change the look very easily with the accessories. For your reno, go with white, and then add touches of a few items in trendy colours. Visit some show homes and see what colours they are using. Let the new owners do the bold paint jobs.
