I am redoing my bathroom. The shower tiles are charcoal and the floor tiles are a cream colour. The tub, sink, and toilet are white. The fixtures are brushed nickel, the trim is an off white, a tinge yellowish. What colour do you suggest for the walls and towels?

You don't say what color your walls are now, but I would go with a cream color on the walls. This would give you a neutral color scheme that would match any color towels, thus you could just change out the towels from time to time to change the entire look of the bathroom, i.e., red and green for Christmas, pastels for Spring and Summer (even tropical theme) and bright oranges, yellows for fall. Also, if you have a favorite color, you could use that to accessorize.
I think a cream or white or off white on the walls would be good as well, as then you could change the accessories and towels to any colour you liked. Choose your favorite colour for towels and shower curtain and other accessories.
I would go for a color in blue for the walls & stick to the basic white towels or mix with blue.
