I am disabled and a senior citizen, with all the problems I have, getting in and out of a standard tub/shower is problematic and getting worse. I am afraid of tripping over the edge and falling and maybe breaking a hip. In spite of putting in tub rails, I still have problems. I also have some bouts of dizziness that don't help. I need help in remodeling my bathroom. I can hardly get in and out of present tub without falling.

Have you tried a shower bench or bath stool? There's a special medical type with adjustable height. In combination, you might try a sprayer hose that fits onto the tub faucet rather than the overhead shower or filling the tub.
