In my older years, my situation changed. I was not able to buy the things I thought I wanted or needed. Or thought I needed. Although I can't buy grass fed beef, the ground beef on sale for $2.99 a pound hasn't killed me. The fresh vegetables that grow next door to the organic are $2-$3 cheaper a pound. But, God says don't worry about what you will eat, or what you will drink. And pray over your food and nothing can harm you.
I can only afford to live in a run down place, but am thankful that I have a roof over my head. I will not waste when there is homeless and hungry people out there, and want to be able to bless them when the opportunity arises.
Yes, I've become accustomed to the frugal life. But I'm happy, content and thankful. "Where your treasure is, that's where your heart will be also"

I have to say to YOU, you inspire me! You, have the perfect attitude, you don't in most people. I was so impressed by your finding soulutions that work for you & your budget. I am also in my older years, alone, disabled and get a check once a month.
Excellent outlook on life. We all would probably be happier with less stuff & as long as you have a roof over your head, food to eat & a good outlook, life is good. Always look after those less fortunate, if possible & God will look after you.
i love that-what a great attitude x
