This is a simple yet tasty dish which goes well with steamed rice or fried rice. "Bengal Fish Curry" is an Indian dish from the state of West Bengal, in the eastern part of India.

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces sliced fish fillets
- 1 Tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp cumin powder
- 1 Tbsp coriander powder
- 2 oz mustard oil
- 2 chopped onions
- 4 pieces cauliflower
- 5 pieces potato
- 4 pieces drumsticks
- 4 green chilis
- 1 chopped tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 pinch salt
Steps:
- Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and pinch of salt.
- Heat a pan and pour mustard oil into it. Heat the oil and deep fry the fish until it turns brown. Set the fried fish aside.
- Heat oil and fry cauliflower, potatoes and drumsticks. Set aside.
- Heat a separate pan, pour in mustard oil. Add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and sauté it. Add green chilies and chopped tomatoes. Cover the pan for a while. Add spices and stir it well. Cook the paste and spices well. Add water (for a gravy), and cover it for a while. Then add the fried vegetables to the gravy.
- After 5 mins, add the fried fish and cover the pan. Cook for another 10 mins. Add salt to taste. The Bengal Fish curry is ready to serve hot.
