Blend dry ingredients in one bowl.
In another bowl blend sugar, oil, eggs, add mashed bananas. Then fold gently-into flour mixture.
Grease loaf pan before putting the batter in it. Sprinkle topping on and put in the oven. Crushed pecans make it good, too.
Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour.

I love banana bread. I found that it is also good with a spread of peanut butter, marshmallow on top and toasted. I cook mine in a cake pan.
Hi - this sure sounds great and I will be trying it soon. I always wonder what type of flour people are using in a recipe. Especially when they are adding baking soda and baking powder?
