Gorilla Glue makes several types. Get the one that adheres to glass.
THERE IS SUPER GLUE,ELMER'S CEMENT GLUE,ALSO E6800 WORK'S WELL WITH GLASS.TRY GORILLA CLEAR.
Unless I am mistaken, Elyse was asking for ideas for something to cover her bar. After deciding what she'll use, she then should have a better idea as to how to attach the covering to the bar (if in fact, she wants the covering to be attached).
In the end, which glue will work best for her may well be determined by what type covering she chooses.
Elyse, could you send us a picture? I don't know if people are clear about what you are trying to fix.
