This is our Black Sex Link on her first adventure outside this past weekend! They are starting to get pretty stir crazy in their brooder box, but the weather isn't nice enough for them to move quite yet.
She is my 3 year old son's chicken and he has named her James. :) At 6 weeks, she is a week younger than our other two girls. Her eyes are so striking!
She is very curious and insisted on sitting on my shoe!

Wow, blue eyes...how pretty. This was really helpful to me, because I have 11-12 week olds that I got at 4 weeks....I had to get rid of 1, because it grew into a Rooster. So, wanted to replace him....went to Tractor Supply to get some feed, and I heard peeping...so, had to check it out, and came home with 4 baby chicks.
