I have dark dyed hair and about 4 inches of very light regrowth. What can I use to bleach the dark ends? My hair hasn't been dyed in several months and it's only 2 strips underneath that need bleaching. My hair is not dry or damaged looking. Any suggestions?

Instead of bleaching it, I would use color stripper for hair.
Yes that's what I use, I used stage 7 by Clairol but they discontinue this item now I'm using L'Oreal super blue, it's much gentler and doesn't burn up your hair from overlapping ,I've been doing this about ten years and my hair is very healthy and it doesn't irritate the scalp like most bleaches, if your going blonde with out the brassiness that has a built in drabber to cut the undesirable under laying tones like red, orange and gold, if you do it right and watch the color you can bring it up to match your color you want, but you have to close the cuticle layer, I usually use a clear shine or you could put a toner of the color you want, good luck.
You could use hydrogen peroxide on the ends.
You will need a color stripper. Try Color Oops.
Thank you, I think I will try this.
As sherrikehoe (I take it, not from Chicago), gave no indication of what she/he is trying to achieve, I'm not going to attempt to answer this question. I would like to be enlightened, though. Since these one time posters seldom reply back, I'm asking you fellow members, 'What does 'it's only 2 strips underneath that need bleaching', mean?
And, if the ends are too dark, why is it that two underneath strips are the ones needing the bleach? Is it bleach the dark ends or bleach 2 underneath strips? Mercy! This case would cause Vidal Sassoon to drop his cookies!
I have white hair in two spots, they are "strips" I've had them most of my adult life, I have always dyed them. The white is hidden under a "top" layer of dark hair. I am tired of dying the white a dark color to match the rest of my hair color. I have been letting my hair grow out bit now I have 4-5 inches of pure white that has 12 inches of dark. I just want to make the "strips" or as my husband calls them skunk stripes all white. I do appreciate all the suggestions everyone has posted.
attosa is right. Use a good color stripper. If the color stripper does not remove all the color, re apply and hope for the best. Do not use bleach to remove any residual color.
