I have a pair of organza-like curtains that I would like to change to white. Do I do this using the bleach/water mix? Has anyone done this and had success? It's just that it's a bit of a leap of faith to try it.

Step 1
Use a colour remover first. Rit sells it. Hang to dry before you color them.
Step 2
Then choose a white dye. Follow the box instructions. Put water in first and add dye then mix well.
Step 3
You can use more than one box and leave it in longer to soak in the dye.
Bleach will weaken the fabric. Find a darker color you like and dye them.
I have never tried bleaching organza, but upon looking up on the internet. It is not recommended because the fabric is very delicate.

It won't bleach well. It will be patchy, like tie-dying.
Thanks everyone for your Input.
