Photo Description Add to that the fact I kept this plant in a small container most of its life and you'll have the reasons it took 20 years to see this plant in full bloom. It did tease me with one little bloom last year. From here on out, it should be loaded with blooms every year. Oh, an interesting fact. I took a big whiff of one of these blooms. Never before did I know; they have the scent of Dentyne chewing gum.
Here is a closeup of wisteria blooms. It is not a very good picture, really. It means a lot to me, though. I grew this plant from seed. It is not unusual to have a 15 year wait period between seed and bloom. A good reason to start wisteria from cuttings rather than seed.

Beautiful!
Thank you!
Another view a few days later.
Wow! I wish I had that in my garden!!!!
Sometimes I see these at Lowes, marked down really low.
Beautiful but be careful where you plant it. It is invasive. The runners are just that: runners and they attach to everything.
Nice!
